This Side of Heaven

  • ‘G’ for Gluttony After leaving Binondo Church, we headed straight to where our stomachs kept pointing us to - Ongpin for some delectable Chinese yum-yums.
  • old glamour, old manila Chinatown.  The word evokes an otherworldly charm that I’ve just been so fascinated with after seeing the rich Chinese culture in Indonesia.

  • My Love Story Part 1 I am not heart broken as I write this (not yet at least, haha). I am in love and am currently courting somebody.
  • The Deported One What happened to me last March 1, 2009 turned upside down or downside up.

Coffee & Conversations

  • To love is saying I have not done enough For my *lola's birthday and due also to my family's constant demands (which I really appreciated), I decided to come home to my hometown Iloilo.
  • In His Time The song "In His Time" has been continuously ringing in my ears and in my mind.

Grounded

  • Refreshing I'm thankful I have a techie friend named Sky. She convinced me to attend a techie meeting.

Kaye Ferreria, Missionary to the USA

Chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys...The mere mention of any winged creature is enough to contort Kaye Ferreira’s face into unbelievable spasms of disgust, annoyance and fear.  She’s probably the first self-proclaimed bird-phobic missionary in our ranks.

I Deserve God's Best - by Dolly Macam

Before the year opened, I told God that I would surrender 2009 to Him.  I told Him to take control, be my God and surprise me.  In the first quarter of this year, I had a falling out with my best friend of 21 years, broke up with my boyfriend and lost my job. This was a really painful and trying time. Where did I go wrong?

When  the movie Terminator Salvation was released I was so excited to watch it, then  I read it in the news that Terminator: Salvation was beaten by Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian at the domestic box office.

Word for Word

"My father didn't tell me how to live;
he lived, and let me watch him do it."
Clarence B. Kelland

International Missions

A CFC missionary is doing God’s work and is at the forefront of CFC’s missionary thrust. Crosses come our way. We look to them as blessings that can draw us closer to God and strengthen our faith.

Trusting fully in God who calls us to be His missionary. We are in His hands and He is accomplishing His plan in our lives. Expecting to have the most rewarding time of our lives.
